Kickstart your MicroStation skills! MicroStation is a CAD software for infrastructure design and project delivery. It enables design and construction professionals to create, model, visualise, document, and sustain projects with precision. Supporting both 2D and 3D design (plus powerful BIM features) it's a great software to learn and add to your skillset and use inclass. Whether you're new to the software or want to sharpen your basics, our Beginner MicroStation Workshop is the perfect way to get started. Led by Hans-Christian Wilhelm, Curtin University Unit Coordinator & Lecturer, you'll gain the essential tools to design with confidence. This workshop is especially valuable for units involving documentation and detailing which is also taught by Hans himself, this workshop will introduce skills you can directly apply in class.

Whether you’re snapping pics on your phone or shooting with a DSLR, this full-day workshop is designed to level up your photography game — and fast. We’ll walk you through the basics of composition, lighting, and camera settings, then wrap up with a hands-on editing session using Lightroom and Photoshop.   What’s on the Schedule? 🟡 Morning Sessions – Shooting Practice 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Phone Photography 101 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM: DSLR (Advanced Techniques) Locations: Around campus – indoor/outdoor shooting spots ⏸️ Break: 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM (go grab a bite, recharge, review your shots) 🟣 Evening Session – Post-Production 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Lightroom & Photoshop Editing Location: Computer Lab 418.310     🎟️ Limited to 20 spots! 2–3 friendly workshop helpers will be on hand to support you throughout the day. No prior experience required – just bring your curiosity (and your camera if you have one)!
